EPR. Clinical systems. Secure by design.

Microsoft cloud for NHS trusts, regional ICBs, and integrated care providers — built around clinical reality, EPR integration, and the regulatory pressure of running a modern NHS trust.

Information-governance ready NHS-grade data protection Clinical-safety aware EPR-aware patterns

Why health is different

A hospital does not work like an office, and the gap is widest exactly where care happens. Clinical work is shift-based and device-shared: a nurse may touch a dozen shared workstations in a single round, and every second spent at a login screen is a second taken from a patient. Identity is fluid, devices are communal, and the whole environment sits inside a clinical-safety regime where a change that would be routine in an enterprise can carry patient-safety consequences.

Layered over that is a data estate among the most sensitive in the country — governed by strict NHS data-security and information-governance rules — and, increasingly, an EPR such as Epic, Cerner, or System C that has become the true centre of gravity for the trust. The Microsoft estate has to orbit the EPR and the clinical workflow, not the other way round.

So we design clinical-first. Ward rounds, shared devices, single sign-on and fast-user-switching come first; the corporate workplace, security operations, and governance are then built to fit around them. The test of a health tenancy is not whether it passes an office benchmark — it is whether it hands clinicians their time back and stands up to the trust's information-governance and clinical-safety teams.

Clinicians back at the bedside, not the login screen.

Shared clinical workstations can cost staff minutes on every login, several times a shift. Single sign-on with tap-and-go authentication hands that time straight back to patient care — every shared device secured under one SOC, with a UK-based desk on day-two run. This is an illustrative example of our healthcare approach, not a specific client engagement.
